Return & Refund Policy

At Haus of Heritage, we take great care in crafting and delivering timeless, high-quality pieces. We want you to feel confident with every purchase. Please review our return policy below should any issues arise.


Returns Eligibility

  • Faulty or Defective Items Only
    Returns are accepted only for items with a manufacturing defect. Items must be unworn, in their original packaging, and have all tags attached.

  • Return Window
    You must request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Proof of Purchase
    A valid receipt or order confirmation is required.


How to Request a Return

Email thehausofheritage@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A brief explanation of the issue

  • Clear photos showing the fault

Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions.

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.


Non-Returnable Items

  • Change of Mind / Sizing Issues: Not eligible for refund. Store credit may be offered at our discretion.

  • Hygiene Items: Hijabs, undercaps, and headwear are non-returnable for hygiene reasons.

  • Sale Items: Final sale — no returns or exchanges.

  • Shipping Fees: Non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.


International Orders, Duties & Taxes

You are responsible for any customs duties and taxes. These are not included in your order total.

If your order is returned due to unpaid duties or is unclaimed:

  • You will receive an email notification.

  • You’ll have 48 hours to:

    • Pay for reshipping

    • Cancel the order for store credit only

If we do not receive a response, the order will be automatically cancelled for store credit.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, faulty, or incorrect item, email us at thehausofheritage@gmail.com immediately so we can resolve it.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
To exchange an item:

  1. Return the original (if eligible) for store credit.

  2. Use that credit to place a new order.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the outcome.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Please allow additional processing time by your bank.

If you haven’t received your refund after 15 business days, contact us.


Order Cancellations

To cancel, email thehausofheritage@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order number.

  • Orders that have been processed, invoiced, or shipped cannot be cancelled.

  • All cancellations, including pre-orders, are eligible for store credit only.


Pre-Orders

  • Can only be cancelled for store credit if production has not started.

  • Once production begins, no cancellations or refunds are accepted, as items are made to order.
